The Glen Alpine Trail stays fairly level, passes a few snowmelt ponds and arrives at the east shore of Susie Lake, the usual destination for a half day hike (3.4 miles from the trailhead). Round Lake Trail will offer Carr Lake and Feeley Lake, with views of Fall Creek Mountain on your left, as you meander your way through a moss covered forest set upon sloping granite. The trail bypasses Medley Lake and climbs on the east side of a small stream over a very low gap to a valley east of Medley.
